WPP has been awarded the consolidated global creative and production business for Henkel Consumer Brands, covering brands including Persil, Schwarzkopf and Syoss. The expanded mandate has built on WPP’s existing consolidated media business across Europe, which it secured last year.
The development has followed a global pitch process that has spanned over 12 months, where Henkel has sought a partner capable of delivering integrated solutions across creative, production and marketing technology for its global portfolio.
With this expansion, WPP has strengthened its role within Henkel’s marketing ecosystem by adding creative and production responsibilities to its existing media remit, bringing multiple capabilities under a single partnership framework.
