Scara has expanded its leadership team with three key appointments to strengthen its focus on global operations, publisher partnerships, and proprietary IP development. The company has appointed Nathaneal Slabbert as Head of Global Operations, Arun Sadasivan as Head of IP Business, and Karan Khurana as Head of Publisher Business.
The company has aligned these hires with its plans to scale international operations, build publisher relationships, and develop owned intellectual properties. The move has marked a shift towards a more integrated business model across partnerships, cross-market execution, and owned assets.
Nathaneal Slabbert has taken charge of Scara’s global operations, focusing on expanding its presence across markets and strengthening operational capabilities. He has previously worked with Nodwin Gaming and has experience across esports ecosystems, including projects such as ESL African Championship, PUBG Mobile Global Open Brazil, and DreamHack India.
Arun Sadasivan has assumed responsibility for the company’s IP business, leading the development and scaling of proprietary properties. He has joined from FanPlay and has previously led GroupM’s Sports and Entertainment vertical in South India, with experience across partnerships, business growth, and property creation.
Karan Khurana has taken over as Head of Publisher Business, overseeing publisher partnerships and growth strategy. He has previously worked at Nodwin Gaming and has experience in building strategic alliances and scaling business verticals within the gaming ecosystem.
The appointments have reinforced Scara’s focus on strengthening leadership across key areas tied to long-term growth in gaming, culture, and live experiences.
“Scara Gaming is building for a much larger opportunity at the intersection of gaming, culture, and immersive experiences. As the market evolves, so must the kind of business we are building. Nathaneal, Arun, and Karan each bring deep expertise in areas that will define our next phase of growth, from global operations and original IP to publisher partnerships. Their appointments reflect our ambition to build a sharper, more scalable, and more globally relevant company for the future.” – Manoj G, Founder, Scara
