Cheil X has appointed Anchit Chauhan as General Manager – Planning. In his new role, he has been responsible for leading strategic planning across key accounts, driving brand strategy, strengthening consumer insights frameworks and overseeing integrated campaign development for the agency’s portfolio.
Chauhan has updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect his new role at Cheil India, where he has joined as GM – Planning in February 2026.
Prior to this, he has served as Vice President – Planning at VML from December 2023 to February 2026. Before VML, he worked at Wunderman Thompson as AVP Planning from February 2022 to December 2023, and earlier as Account Planning Director from April 2018 to September 2019, handling brand and integrated communication mandates across sectors.
Between June 2021 and March 2022, he held the position of Cluster Director at TBWA\India in Gurugram. From September 2019 to June 2021, he has been Director – Brand Strategy at Dentsu Webchutney, where he has focused on consumer behaviour and brand transformation projects.
Earlier in his career, Chauhan has spent over three years at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide between April 2015 and April 2018, first as Account Planning Manager and later as Account Planning Director, working on brands such as Shell and Apollo Tyres. He has also served as Strategic Planning Manager at Percept from October 2013 to April 2015 and began his brand strategy journey as Associate Consultant – Brand Strategy at Ideactio Pte Ltd from September 2011 to October 2013.
