Signpost India has secured exclusive outdoor advertising rights for select premium streetscapes in Kolkata under a Public-Private Partnership model with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The concession has covered key high-footfall stretches including Park Street, Camac Street, Theatre Road and Park-o-Mat.
The company has projected substantial gross advertising revenue over the concession period, with a significant portion earmarked for the municipal authority. As per details shared in a regulatory filing, the agreement has included a fixed annual payment structure with periodic escalation, sources have confirmed to Marketing Mind.
The contract has been positioned as a major domestic win for Signpost India, strengthening its presence in eastern India, particularly across premium commercial and retail zones known for high visibility and advertiser demand.
The company has clarified that the agreement has not involved any related party transactions and that none of its promoters or group entities have held an interest in the awarding authority.
