Google and PayPal have announced a strategic multiyear partnership aimed at advancing digital commerce across platforms and devices. The collaboration is designed to create frictionless payment experiences for businesses and consumers while setting new standards for the commerce ecosystem.
As part of the partnership, the companies are developing AI-powered shopping and commerce experiences, combining PayPal’s global payment infrastructure, trusted identity solutions, and data-driven personalization with Google’s AI expertise. PayPal’s solutions, including branded checkout, Hyperwallet, and PayPal Payouts, will be embedded throughout Google’s platforms, offering seamless transaction experiences. The partnership also expands PayPal Enterprise Payments as a key payment provider for Google Cloud, Google Ads, and Google Play, while Google Cloud will support the technology foundation for PayPal’s next-generation commerce and payments platform.
Together, these initiatives aim to equip consumers, merchants, and developers with flexible tools to engage in modern digital commerce while creating a foundation for ongoing innovation and collaboration across the industry.
