Spikes Asia 2025 Shortlists Announced; India & Australia Lead In Shortlisted Pieces Of Work

Spikes Asia, APAC’s most prestigious and sought-after Award for creativity and marketing effectiveness, has revealed its shortlists for the 2025 Awards. In the same, it is Australia and India that have the most shortlisted pieces of work, followed by Japan.

Spikes Asia 2025 Shortlists Announced; India & Australia Lead In Shortlisted Pieces Of Work

The shortlists for the 25th edition of Spikes Asia, APAC’s most prestigious and sought-after Award for creativity and marketing effectiveness, have been announced. 

From an initial 2759 entries from 20 markets, 613 pieces of work have been shortlisted and will now compete to be awarded APAC’s most coveted creative branded communications accolade. 

In the overall tally, Australia and India have the most shortlisted pieces of work, followed by Japan.

Winners of the Spikes Asia Awards will be announced during the Awards Ceremony taking place at the Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore on April 24 and during the Ceremony, Samsung Electronics will be honoured as the 2025 Advertiser of the Year.

Speaking about the shortlists, Mandy Neo, Director, Spikes Asia, said, “This year’s shortlists represent the outstanding creativity and marketing effectiveness across APAC. The quality and breadth of work submitted reflect the evolving landscape of branded communications, showcasing fresh perspectives and powerful storytelling. We congratulate all the shortlisted entrants and look forward to celebrating the winners at the Awards Ceremony in April.”

Marian Brannelly, Global Director of Awards, LIONS, added, “Creativity continues to be a driving force for innovation and impact across APAC. The Spikes Asia Awards set the benchmark for excellence, and this year’s shortlist reflects the ingenuity, cultural resonance, and world-class craft shaping the industry. It’s inspiring to see how brands and agencies across the region are pushing creative boundaries to drive meaningful change. We look forward to unveiling the winners and celebrating their achievements next month.”
