22Feet Tribal Worldwide has appointed Jack in the Box’s Axon Alex to lead strategic planning for the agency in addition to bringing in Shikha Davessar from DDB Mudra Group to serve as the agency’s EVP and Head- Client Business.
In their new roles, both Alex and Davessar will report to Vanaja Pillai, President, 22Feet Tribal Worldwide.
Before joining 22Feet Tribal Worldwide, Alex served as Managing Partner at Jack in the Box for the past eight years, starting February 2016. Prior to that, he worked with BBH India from June 2012 to January 2016, first as Brand Partner and then as Strategy Director as he was elevated to the latter role in July 2014.
Earlier on, he had started his advertising career with Tribal DDB India and worked at the agency for a period of four years. He joined them as an Associate in August 2008 and was elevated to Senior Associate in December 2009 before becoming the Manager- Digital Planning in June 2011.
Davessar, on the other hand, was associated with DDB Mudra Group for nine-and-a-half years before joining 22Feet Tribal Worldwide. She joined the agency as Group Business Director in October 2014 and was elevated to the role of AVP in April 2019 and VP and Business Partner in November 2021.
That being said, she had been associated with 22Feet Tribal Worldwide for the past one year as SVP & Head- Client Business.
Before that, she worked as Brand Leader at McCann Erickson for close to one-and-a-half year, starting July 2013; Associate Account Director at LG ad for a year, starting June 2012, Manager Brand Communications for two-and-a-half years, starting September 2009 and Brand Associate at Leo Burnett from September 2008 to September 2009.
