WPP Media South Asia Unveils Revamped Leadership Structure

As part of its global media restructuring, WPP Media South Asia has unveiled a new leadership framework featuring an Executive Committee and a WPP Media Leadership Council. With Prasanth Kumar leading the region, the move aims to streamline operations and enhance strategic focus across India and Sri Lanka through a more collaborative leadership approach.

WPP Media South Asia Unveils Revamped Leadership Structure

WPP Media South Asia has announced a revamped leadership structure following WPP’s recent global reorganisation of its media operations.

According to an internal communication, the updated structure introduces two key leadership bodies- an Executive Committee and a WPP Media Leadership Council.

The South Asia team will function under the leadership of Prasanth Kumar, Head of India and Sri Lanka. The Executive Committee will comprise: Vishandas Hardasani as Chief Financial Officer; Ashwin Padmanabhan as Chief Operating Officer; Upali Nag as President – Strategy; Vishal Jacob as President – Choreograph and Praseed Prasad as President – Growth and Marketing. 

Meanwhile, the WPP Media Leadership Council will include senior leaders such as Atique Kazi, Shekhar Banerjee, Vinit Karnik, Ajay Mehta, Ruchi Mathur, Snehil Jha, Manini Chakraborty, Parveen Sheik, Namalie Herath, Murali T, and Rohit Sule.
