Uber India & South Asia President Drives Cab Himself To Understand Customers’ Needs Better

Customer service is the most integral part of any leading company. Brands spend millions to ensure that they have adequate staff and measures in place to provide the best experience to their users.

While many brands make grand gestures by announcing special deals to certain customers, others ensure that their helpline numbers work 24×7 to help them with their issues.

However, Uber India and South Asia President has gone the extra mile to bring a smile to his customers’ faces. People of Delhi and Gurgaon were in for a surprise when they booked their cab recently.

To better understand Uber’s customers and get to know them personally, Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh took the job of a cabbie.

Two of the cab hailers from the city posted their experience on LinkedIn and their post was all about their amazement with the Singh’s gesture.

When Prabhjeet Singh announced himself, Ananya had a hard time accepting it. She felt as if it were a prank and even went on to Google his name and match his face with the image that popped up.

She also talked about how lucky she felt to experience such a fortunate encounter. Dwivedi went on to talk about how only a real humble being could have taken up such a task.

Madhuvanti, who is the General Manager at Mamaearth, talked about how surprised she was when she realized who her cabbie was.

Madhuvanti was all praises for Mr. Singh and expressed how much she appreciated the entire initiative and was impressed with his eagerness to understand a customer’s need at the ground level.
