Tata Consumer Products has appointed Furhan Ahmed as Head of Digital Transformation, Sales & Marketing, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its digital and technology-driven growth agenda. He announced the new role via LinkedIn.
Prior to joining Tata Consumer Products, Ahmed served as General Manager at Manara Systems from October 2025 to April 2026. He concurrently held the position of Global CIO and Head of India Development Centre at Gabriel & Co., a role he took up in June 2021.
Before that, Ahmed spent over four years at AstraZeneca, where he held multiple leadership positions. He served as Director IT, R&D from May 2020 to June 2021, Director IT, Science and Enabling Units from December 2017 to June 2021, and Director IT, Enabling Units, GPPS and GMA from February 2017 to December 2017.
Earlier in his career, Ahmed worked with Unilever as IT Lead Business Partner for Customer Development from January 2015 to February 2017. Prior to that, he spent over four years at RB, serving as Operations Head, India Site, Global Service Center from April 2014 to December 2014 and CRM Vertical Head, Global Service Center from October 2010 to March 2014.
Ahmed also held leadership roles at Oracle India, where he worked from November 2006 to October 2010, including stints as Senior Business Analyst from November 2006 to July 2008 and Senior Manager, Business Analyst Team from July 2008 to October 2010.
