Reliance Launches ‘Kumbh JioPhone’ To Help Pilgrims: Here’s All You Need To Know

Just a few days ago we wrote an article on how companies have marketed smartly in the past to gain popularity among Kumbh Mela visitors.

Reliance Jio is known for its smart moves and quality services. To capture the audience for the Kumbh season, the company has announced the launch of ‘Kumbh JioPhone’ offer specially made for 130 million pilgrims that will participate in the world’s largest congregation to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Talking about this, a Jio spokesperson said in an official press release “We are proud of the fact that everyone in India can now get access to a smartphone at as low as Rs 501 with features and functionalities that are Made in India, Made for India and Made by India.”

Below is the list of features Jio will provide to their existing and new users during Kumbh Mela.

Free voice calls and unlimited Internet:

Free Local, STD and Roaming calls to any network, from anywhere in India with unlimited internet access.

Family Locator:

This option will help people to always stay close and safe. It will support in by finding the exact location of family and friends.

Khoya Paya:

This will help visitors to reunite in case they aren’t able to trace them.

Kumbh Darshan:

Telecast of special Kumbh events and programs on JioTV along with previous archives of Kumbh will be provided under this.

Kumbh Radio:

A radio with 24 X 7 access to devotional songs and hymns that will keep customers connected with the Almighty.

Important apps to entertain customers: This offer has some very entertaining apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioSaavn, JioGames, Facebook, Whatsapp, YouTube, Google Maps & many more.

For additional safety purposes, Jio is working closely with the UP Police & KASH IT to ensure the above experience is delivered. Also, Reliance Retail has initiated a special helpline number ‘1991’ to answer queries on the JioPhone.

The above-mentioned offers are available for both existing and new JioPhone users.
