The 2023 edition of the World Universities is out. This week, the QS World Rankings 2023 declared IISc Bangalore as the top university in India. This university is followed by IIT Bombay and Delhi in the second and third ranks, respectively.
In the entire list, 41 Indian universities were featured this year. Here’s a look at the top 10 Indian universities that made the cut.
IISc Bangalore
IISc Bangalore tops the charts with a global rank of 155.
IIT Bombay
With a global rank of 172, IIT Bombay comes second on the list this year.
IIT Delhi
IIT Delhi secures the third position with a global rank of 174.
IIT Madras
With a big margin, the 4th university to top the list is IIT Madras with a global rank of 250.
IIT Kanpur
IIT Kanpur comes in the top 5 of the list of Indian universities with a global rank of 264.
IIT Kharagpur
IIT Kharagpur secures a global rank of 270.
IIT Roorkee
IIT Roorkee is seventh on the lift with a global rank of 369.
IIT Guwahati
With a global rank of 384, IIT Guwahati is eighth on the list.
IIT Indore
IIT Indore stands at a global rank of 396.
University of Delhi
The University of Delhi comes in the top 10 with a global rank between 521-30.
