A Porsche Car Owner has been fined Rs. 9.8 Lakh by Ahmedabad Regional Transport Office for wheeling around on the road without any car documents and legal/valid number plates.
This silver color Porsche Car was a sports model 911 worth Rs.2 crore but the owner was not carrying any car documents with him which led him to crack the world record of fines ever being applied on anyone in regard to their vehicle.
While conversing with media, Ahmedabad Traffic DCP Ajit Ranjan quoted, “During a traffic drive we stopped a Porsche car. The owner did not have proper documents at the spot. So, we sent the car to RTO where we came to know the vehicle was not insured and road tax and earlier penalties were unpaid. So, when the car owner will pay all the penalties we will release the vehicle.”
The vehicle was taken hold of at Helmet crossroads traffic.
