Škoda Auto Volkswagen India has announced a leadership transition in its Sales, Marketing and Digital function, with Jan Bures, Executive Director – Sales, Marketing and Digital, set to conclude his global assignment in India.
Effective September 2026, Bures will take on a new role at Volkswagen AG, while continuing within the Volkswagen Group. The company thanked him for his contributions towards the Group’s growth in India and wished him success in his new assignment.
Following the transition, Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, will assume the additional responsibility of Executive Director – Sales & Marketing for the Group in India.
According to the company, the revised leadership structure is intended to strengthen strategic alignment, accelerate decision-making and drive greater accountability across the organisation.
Škoda Auto Volkswagen India oversees the Group’s portfolio of six brands in the country: Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche. The company said it remains focused on the long-term potential of the Indian market, with continued emphasis on sustainable growth, customer-centric innovation and expanding its product portfolio.
