Nikita Kandhari has taken on the role of Lead Content Marketing for the Hindi slate at Prime Video. She has been serving as Principal – Content Marketing at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios since July 2024 in Mumbai.
She announced this move via a linkedin post.
Prior to this, Kandhari was with Netflix from June 2021 to July 2024, where she led Film and Series Marketing initiatives in India.
Before Netflix, she held multiple roles at Hotstar. From February 2021 to June 2021, she was Associate Director – Content Marketing, and from June 2019 to February 2021, she served as Senior Manager – Content Marketing. Earlier, between June 2014 and July 2018, she worked as Assistant Marketing Manager and later Brand Manager, leading integrated marketing campaigns for the platform and major sports properties including ICC World Cup and IPL.
Between August 2018 and June 2019, Kandhari was Digital Transformation Manager at Unilever in Mumbai.
She earlier worked at Ogilvy & Mather from April 2011 to March 2013 as Account Supervisor on Unilever Pond’s business, managing campaign execution and cross-functional teams.
Kandhari began her career at The Nielsen Company as Research Analyst from May 2008 to September 2009, working across FMCG client portfolios.
