Recently, Jayshree Ullal, CEO of Arista Networks, has been named as one of only five Indian-Americans on Forbes’ list of America’s richest self-made women. Ullal has been ranked 15th on the list with a net worth of $1.9 billion.

About Jayshree Ullal

Born in London in 1961 and raised in New Delhi, Ullal studied electrical engineering at San Francisco State University and engineering management at Santa Clara University.

Soon after, she joined Arista Networks, a computer networking firm that was not very big at the time. In 2008, she became the president and CEO of the company.

To ad into her achievements as the CEO of Arista, in August 2018, the company settled a multi-year patent infringement battle with Cisco, Ullal’s former employer, agreeing to pay Cisco $400 million.

As per Forbes, Jayshree joined the board of directors of Snowflake which is a cloud computing company that went public in September 2020 and recorded revenue of $2.3 billion in the same year. The revenue was nearly 4% less as compared to the fiscal year 2019.
