LS Digital Appoints GroupM’s Vishal Sharma As DVP- Media Buying & Trading

After being associated with GroupM India for six years, Vishal Sharma has now joined LS Digital as DVP- Media Buying and Trading. He will be responsible for the growth of Non-Biddable Media, branding and performance partnership solutions and more at the Digital Marketing Transformation Company.

LS Digital Appoints GroupM’s Vishal Sharma As DVP- Media Buying & Trading

One of India’s prominent digital marketing transformation (DMT) companies, LS Digital, has appointed GroupM’s Vishal Sharma as their new Deputy Vice President (DVP) of Media Buying and Trading.

This is his second stint with LS Digital as he was earlier associated with the DMT company as Account Director- Pre Sales from February 2015 to February 2016.

In his new role at the company, he will be responsible for the growth of Non-Biddable Media, branding and performance partnership solutions, building trading strength and brand planning for brands subscribing to media services and helping build trust in the minds of the clients.

Prior to joining LS Digital, he was associated with GroupM India for the past six years, of which he spent the last close to half-a-year working as Senior Investment Director. He joined the media agency in the capacity of Director- Digital Trading (GroupM CTG) in March 2018.

Before that, he was associated with LS Digital for a year after he called it a day at Netcore Solutions as Senior Executive- Affiliate Operations in January 2015. He had joined them in March 2012.

Earlier on, he also worked with Alfa Overseas (taskseveryday.com), HSBC and R-TeC Systems.

Expressing his thoughts on his appointment, Sharma said, “I am thrilled to be back at LS Digital, known for pioneering strategies that encompass the entire consumer journey through the DMT framework. In today’s dynamic media and branding landscape, it is crucial to meet the evolving expectations of the new-digital-native audience.” Commenting on specific requirements of the brands today, Vishal further said, “Understanding the client’s requirement which is not always about the best price but about the best buying metrics and right channel mix to drive best outcomes. I look forward to contributing to LS Digital’s tradition of delivering impactful solutions tailored to modern brands and audiences.”
