Like every year, Google has released the list of the most searched individuals in India in 2022. As per the report, Indian politician Nupur Sharma was the most searched person this year.

1. Nupur Sharma
Indian Politician Nupur Sharma the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party until June 2022. She was the most searched person on Google in India in 2022 after her controversial remarks earlier this year.
2. Droupadi Murmu
Droupadi Murmu is the 15th president of India since 25 July 2022 which has made her the second most searched individual on Google this year. She is the first person belonging to the tribal community and also the second woman after Pratibha Patil to hold the office.
3. Rishi Sunak
Rishi Sunak was appointed as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party in October 2022. This has put him in third place as the most searched person on Google in 2022.
4. Lalit Modi
Lalit Modi is an Indian businessman who was the founder, first chairman, and Commissioner of the Indian Premier League and ran the tournament for three years until 2010. He came to the limelight earlier this year when the news about his relationship with Sushmita Sen went viral on social media.
5. Sushmita Sen
The news of Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi’s relationship became a hot topic on social media putting her in the fifth spot as the most searched individual.
6. Anjali Arora
