Kantar’s 5 Most Chosen Brands In India

With the 9th edition of its annual Brand Footprint report in 2021, Kantar just declared India’s most chosen brands. These include FMCG brands that can be found in almost all retail outlets in Tier I, II, and III cities.

Parle Products

Parle has a host of brands under its kitty including Parle-G, Krackjack, Milano, Melody, and even Orange Bite. With a high CRP value of 5715 [Mn], Parle Products secured the first position in Kantar’s rating.

Amul

Amul has everything from butter, milk, milkshakes, chocolates to paneer, dahi, milk powder, and even fresh cream. This century-old brand comes at the second position after Parle Products in Kantar’s list, and conveniently so because of its holistic range of products, and affordability factor.

Britannia

Britannia has a host of daily consumption products including biscuits, chocolates, snacks, and more. It secured the third position in Kantar’s list after Amul and Parle Products.

Clinic Plus

Clinic Plus ranked in the 4th position as its shampoos, conditioners, and range of hair care products are of good quality and sport an affordable price range.

Tata Consumer Products

Kantar's 5 Most Chosen Brands In India

Tata is known for its range of daily consumption beverages including tea, smart water, coffee, and more. Securing the 5th rank by Kantar, the company has established its mark in the lives of the strata of Indian society.

Apart from these brands, it was also surprising to see Dettol grow by 48% with a CRP of 923 Mn this year. This made it reach the top 25 list in Kantar.
