Reliance Jio has launched a new Rs 200 Jio OTT Pass bundling subscriptions to 15 OTT platforms, access to more than 1,000 live TV channels, 30GB of high-speed data and unlimited 5G connectivity for 28 days.
The telecom operator has said that the pack, which has gone live from May 27, has been positioned as an all-in-one entertainment and connectivity offering with benefits worth around Rs 1,500 a month for Rs 200.
The pass has included subscriptions to YouTube Premium, JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood, and Prime Video Mobile Edition. YouTube Premium has offered ad-free viewing, offline downloads and background play, while JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood has provided access to live sports and international content.
Users have also received access to 12 additional OTT platforms through JioTV, including SonyLiv, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, FanCode, Hoichoi, Chaupal, Planet Marathi and Tarang Plus.
Apart from OTT access, the pack has included more than 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV, including over 150 paid channels across entertainment, movies, sports, infotainment and regional programming. These channels have included offerings from broadcasters such as JioStar, Sony Entertainment, Sun TV Network, Warner Bros. Discovery and ETV.
The plan has come with 30GB of 4G/5G data and unlimited 5G usage for the duration of the user’s active base plan, capped at 28 days.
The company has said that the offering has aimed to bring streaming, live television and mobile connectivity under a single fixed-price pack as consumers increasingly juggle multiple subscriptions across platforms.
The Rs 200 Jio OTT Pass has been made available across all Jio recharge channels, including MyJio, Jio.com, retail stores and third-party recharge apps. Customers have been required to maintain an active base plan to activate the pass, the company added.
