Ghar Soaps Just Signed Rohit Sharma & The Campaign Is As No-Nonsense As The Man Himself

With the emergence of social media, especially the Instagram era, skincare has gotten complicated. Too many products, too many steps, too much information, and somewhere in all of that, nobody really knows what and whom to trust anymore.

When it came to picking a brand ambassador, Ghar Soaps didn’t go looking for glamour. They went looking for someone who lives that same philosophy every single day. And Rohit Sharma was the obvious answer.

He’s never needed drama to make his point on the field. He just shows up, stays calm, and delivers. That parallel with the brand isn’t forced– it’s actually the whole point.

Talking about the association, Sayyam Jain, Co-Founder, Ghar Soaps, says, “Rohit Sharma isn’t just a cricketer– he’s a symbol of consistency, resilience, and performing under pressure. That’s exactly what Ghar Soaps stands for. We don’t just want to sell a product; we want to build a brand that India trusts for generations.”

The campaign itself is built around one simple idea: effective skincare doesn’t need to be complicated. The creative takes a light, humorous route– poking fun at flashy, overcomplicated skincare routines– before landing on a clean punchline: “De-Tanning Simple hai, Boss.”

Their hero product, Magic Soap, sits at the centre of a growing de-tan portfolio that now includes face wash, cream, sunscreen, and body lotion. The products are available online and offline across India, with a recent launch in 7-Eleven stores across Pune and Mumbai marking a major step in the brand’s offline expansion.

The brand is backed by Famy Aspire, supported by the Taparia family– the same family behind Bellavita, Rubans, and GNC India.

Talking about the vision behind the brand, Sunny Jain, Co-Founder, Ghar Soaps, says, “Our belief has always been simple– build honest, high-quality products that every Indian household can trust. Partnering with Rohit Sharma reflects that same consistency and credibility, as we work towards one vision: Har Ghar Ghar Soaps.”

With Rohit Sharma now carrying that message, this homegrown D2C skincare brand just became a lot harder to ignore.
