Elon Musk is one of the most unorthodox recruiters the planet has ever witnessed. When it comes to hiring talent for his corporations’ Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) and Tesla Inc., he never bound the applicants to must have so-called degrees from reputed universities. Anyone willing to work, trustworthy, and passionate for working is welcomed at SpaceX and Tesla.
Last month Elon Musk said that you don’t need a college degree to work at Tesla. And this Tuesday, Elon Musk once again sent a clear message with his tweet that a super hardcore work ethic, talent for building things, common sense & trustworthiness are required to work, the rest we can train.
Elon Musk Tweeted on Tuesday, “Starship career day at the Stargate building (Boca Chica Blvd, TX) this Thursday from 3pm to 9pm!”
And to the same tweet, he added, “ This is mainly for staffing up 4 production shifts for 24/7 operations, but engineers, supervisors & support personnel are certainly needed too. A super hardcore work ethic, talent for building things, common sense & trustworthiness are required, the rest we can train.”

Twitter users were quick to respond to Musk’s Tweet.
Can’t wait for the day you post a job call out like this for Mars. 😎

I have such a hardcore work ethic that I've reported at least 70 crypto scammers in the past 24 hours.

Last Sunday, Elon Musk also called enthusiasts to join Tesla with his another his-type tweet and said, I “don’t care if you even graduated high school,” he said.
A PhD is definitely not required. All that matters is a deep understanding of AI & ability to implement NNs in a way that is actually useful (latter point is what’s truly hard). Don’t care if you even graduated high school.

Join AI at Tesla! It reports directly to me & we meet/email/text almost every day. My actions, not just words, show how critically I view (benign) AI.”
