EID Parry India Elevates Balaji Prakash To COO & Business Head - Consumer Products Group

Balaji Prakash has been elevated to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Business Head – Consumer Products Group at EID Parry (India), a company engaged in the business of sweeteners and nutraceuticals.

He joined the company in December 2017 as Vice President (VP)- Sales and Marketing. He also served as Senior VP, and Head Sales and Marketing from December 2017 to September 2023. Subsequently, he served as Executive VP and Business Head- Consumer Products Business from June 2023 till now.

Previously, he was associated with Tata Teleservices as Business Unit Head.

Earlier on, in CavinKare he served in different capacities for about seven years. He started his tenure as Senior Marketing Manager in October 2007. In June 2009 he was promoted to GM Marketing- Food Business. Later, he served as Business Head- Dairy and Beverage from June 2011 to August 2014.

Before this, Prakash was DGM Marketing at TTK Healthcare from June 2006 to September 2007. Previously, he was Category Manager at Lotte India from April 2004 to May 2006.

Before joining Lotte India, he was associated with Ford Motor Company as Senior Brand Manager from April 2003 to April 2004.

In his previous stint with CavinKare, from 1998 to 2003, he worked as Group Product Manager and before that, he served as Sales Executive at Castrol India from 1996 to 1998.
