Dharma Productions’ Campaign For Celebration Of 20 Years Of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’

Indian cinema has been a very integral part of Indian culture. Growing up, every child has been fascinated with the world of cinema. Way back when there was no multiplex, people would stand in huge queues just to get the ticket of the latest release.

Even the marketing techniques were not so simple. Today, it has become so much easier for the makers to promote the upcoming movies. The internet has many platforms through which the makers are able to reach the masses.

Before the world went so tech-savvy, the film producers promoted through print media or through radio and television. Even in the early 2000s, the ways to promote the movies were not many. However, it never affected the box office earnings. Movies still made huge business and many are still some of the most-watched movies of all time.

Recently, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham completed 20 years since its release. The star-studded movie is one of the biggest hits of its time and Karan Johar‘s gift to the Indian cinema. While many may not agree with its popularity, it surely is one of the guiltiest pleasures we all have.

To celebrate the milestone achievement, Dharma Productions went all in. There were posts on all official handles across social media platforms. Many celebrities jumped in and recreated some of the most iconic scenes from the movie and many celebs who were part of the movie contributed in their own way.

Overall, the internet was full of celebratory posts for K3G turning 20!
