Dolly Jha, who served as the Chief of Product and Research at Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC) for nearly two years, has decided to step down from her role.
She announced the same on LinkedIn.
Before joining BARC in May 2023, Jha was associated with Nielsen for over 13 years, transitioning through various roles. She joined the company as Director in February 2010, later she was elevated to Executive Director, CI and BASES in April 2013. In April 2015, she was promoted to the role of Executive Director, Marketing Effectiveness, later in June 2018 she was elevated to Country Head- iMedia. Between August 2021 and May 2023, Jha served as Managing Director at Nielsen.
Prior to that, she worked with IMRB International as Group Business Director from June 2006 to January 2010. Between August 2003 and May 2006, she worked as Head-Consumer Insights at ITC.
In her previous stint with IMRB International, she served as Consumer Research Manager, between December 1994 and July 2003.
