Rising levels of pollution in the capital of the country, Delhi has opened some new windows of opportunities for the capital-based entrepreneurs who have come with the unique concept of oxygen bars.
Yes, you read that right! Oxygen bars! Delhi which is otherwise famous for its drinking tradition can now enjoy their favorite cocktails topped with oxygen at the Oxy Pure bar in Saket. The newly opened bar claims to offer pure oxygen to its customers for 15 minutes which is available in 7 different aromas including spearmint, peppermint, cinnamon, orange, lemongrass, eucalyptus, and lavender.
Founded by Aryavir Kumar Oxy Pure charges Rs. 299 for each 15-minute oxygen-breathing session. The customer is given a tube through which flavored oxygen is provided to them. The apparatus works by controlling atmospheric pressure, and customers are restricted from inhaling oxygen more than once a day.
The first outlet is open at Select City Walk mall in Saket, and a second outlet is expected to be opened at Delhi airport by December this year.
The concept of Oxygen bars may be new in India but is otherwise quite popular abroad and is mostly used for recreational purposes and aromatherapy.
