ABBYs 2026: EssenceMediacom Bags Media Agency Of The Year Title; WPP Media Becomes Network Agency Of The Year

ABBYs 2026: EssenceMediacom Bags Media Agency Of The Year Title; WPP Media Becomes Network Agency Of The Year

As Goafest 2026 commenced today at Taj Cidade De Goa Horizon, Day 1 concluded with strong participation from across the industry. Professionals from the advertising, marketing, and media ecosystem came together for the much-awaited ABBY Awards 2026, powered by The One Show.

EssenceMediacom emerged as the Media Agency of the Year at the Media ABBY Awards 2026, held on the opening day of Goafest on Wednesday. The agency secured a total of 88 points and took home 14 metals, including 5 Gold, 6 Silver, 3 Bronze.

Wavemaker India secured the second spot with a total of 76 points, winning 11 metals overall, comprising 7 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. Meanwhile, Mindshare India finished third with 66 points and 10 metals, including 6 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze.

WPP Media was adjudged the newly introduced title Network Agency of the Year, topping the rankings with 242 total points. The agency won a total of 37 metals, including 19 gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze. 

Omnicom Media secured the second position with 108 total points and 20 metals, while Tribes Communications finished third with 66 points and 20 metals overall including 1 grand prix, 1 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.
