Here’s How Brands Celebrated Mother’s Day 2023 With Thoughtful Campaigns

A mother’s presence means so much in our lives. They live to play myriad roles- our pillar of strength, our biggest cheerleader when we are falling apart, that rightful guide on difficult paths and the one who showers us with unconditional love.

This Mother’s Day, brands paid tribute to the ones whose place can never be taken in their children’s lives, with thoughtful and innovative campaigns honoring their unmatched contribution in raising generations.

1. Amazon India

One cannot confine a mother’s love in a box. The brand’s campaign brings forth raw emotions that mother’s go through while interacting with their grownup kids, trying to be as close as they can with someone who was a part of them at some point in time.

It encourages us to keep finding excuses to be there for our mother’s and make them feel special even when they don’t say it.

2. Figaro Baby

On this important day celebrating motherhood, Figaro baby launched a campaign based on the concept of listening to Mothers’ needs. It raised the pertinent question of how much do we listen to those who are bombarded with advices and made to go about their daily activities, even if they don’t feel like, most of the times.

The ad featuring Zarina Wahab is a delight to watch, especially for the camaraderie between a mother and her son.

3. LG Electronics

The electronics brand paid an emotional tribute highlighting the journey of motherhood from pregnancy to caring during initial years and later. The ad talks about how if LG makes life good, mother’s make life better.

4.Edelweiss Tokio Life

Edelweiss brings out the indomitable spirit of mother’s this Mother’s Day with their campaign #ZindagiUnlimited.

How a mother surprises her son by learning how to ride her husband’s bike makes the central premise of the ad. She gets hurt multiple times but does not give up, just for her son. It makes quite an emotional and heart-touching campaign to watch.

5. Zomato

The food delivery aggregator’s Mother’s Day campaign is based on the thought- “MA always comes first” The brand momified its name too, keeping it ‘Mazoto’ re-iterating its concept.

The campaign has a hilarious video that shows how the app will look, if it is run by mothers!

6. Asian Paints

The paints brand released three ad films, that in a fun way conveyed how gifting for moms is both-difficult and easy!

7. AIR India

Air India released a short film that encapsulates the feelings and rituals mothers go through when their children leave home to travel. the film is the collective effort of creators from around the world, and leaves us with a thoughtful line- ‘It’s the small things moms do, that make the big journeys possible’

8. Archies

The ad film from Archies showcases how valued mothers feel, when children communicate their love for them. They feel special when children value their contributions and love and this campaign honors every mother who raises her children with unconditional love, warmth, and care.

9. Titan

Mothers are our go-to person whenever there is a question, even the unnecessary ones. And leading watch brand Titan decided to use this idea in their campaign titled #MOMentsTogether, in which children give a much-needed break to their mothers from these minor questions.

Instead, Titan’s Ask A-aai chatbot will answer questions like “Have you seen my keys?” or “Mom, what’s for dinner?”

10. Catch

The most emotional campaign of this year, Catch released a short film inspired by a true incident, in which a mother secretly delivers food to her daughter at an orphanage, and this food is the only link that secretly binds them together.

11. Godrej Group

The Godrej Group pays an ode to mothers who are always on the run, managing professional and personal lives without complaint.

It released a series of recipes featuring celebrity chefs like Sanjyot Keer, Amrita Raichand and Vicky Ratnani that demonstrated how dishes like ‘Tasty Society Expectations Mango Shake’ and ‘Lajawab Overworked Mom’s Butter Chicken’ are made.

The concept was to encourage all the mothers to feel humane about themselves once again.

12. redBus

Mother’s too need a break from their schedules which revolve around everyone in the family. While she takes care of kids and the home, redBus encourages us to take care of her by gifting her a much-needed break!
