The price for this smartphone Jio Phone Next is set at Rs 6,499 and will be available on down payment and EMI plans. The entry price for the same is set at Rs 1,999 post which the remaining amount can be paid through EMIs spanning a period of 18 to 24 months. There are also 4 different Jio Phone Next EMI plans that are being made to the consumers.

What’s inside the box?

Along with the Jio Phone Next, you will also receive a 5W charging adapter along with a micro USB charging cable and a removable battery pack. The warranty card and user guide come in handy too.

Jio Phone Next features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layered on top. The front camera offers 8-megapixel while a 13-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor and offers a removable 3,500mAh battery. The Jio Phone Next operates on a newly developed version of Android 11 which is called as the “PragatiOS” specifically built for JioPhone Next. Google features such as Read Aloud and Translate Now are also integrated into the phone. Users can also make use of Google Assistant for Jio specific queries pertaining to Jio Saavn and My Jio.

The Major USPs of the Jio Phone Next are:

    • You can translate any image or mobile screen (of any app) into your language of choice (Be it a web page, a photo with text, a message from your friend or even a sign board.)
    • Currently 10 languages will be supported. English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Other languages will be added in the future.
    • You can use this feature from Camera or the overlay button on the softkeys
  2. Read Aloud:
    • Use Read aloud feature to listen to the text on your mobile screen (Same mentioned 10 languages can be used)
    • To use the feature tap on overview key from bottom navigation bar and tap on ‘Listen’ with the screen selected

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
