1. Imarticus Learning

Sonya Hooja and Nikhil Barshikar, a brother-sister duo, launched this Mumbai based startup in 2012, which is a leading ed-tech company in the domain of financial and analytics-centric professional education.

It has trained more than 30,000 students globally and has established itself in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and is targeting global markets like Dubai, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

2. Kyazoonga

Akash and Neetu Bhatia, a brother-sister duo, launched this startup in early 2007 which is based in Delhi and Pune. It is India’s first and largest online ticketing company and the only ticketing company to qualify as a finalist for an Olympics ticketing bid.

It is also the only ticketing company in the subcontinent to have ticketed a major international event – the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, all forms of international cricket (ODI, Tests, T20s), several domestic cricket leagues and matches and Olympic style multiple sporting events and venues.

3. Campus Sutra

Campus Sutra is a Bengaluru-based startup which is a private-label apparel and accessories maker that sells T-Shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, activewear, and bags to a student-centric customer base through e-commerce platforms Myntra, Jabong, Flipkart and Amazon, apart from its own website.

It was launched in 2013 by Khushboo Agarwal, Sonal Agarwal, Aditya Agarwal and Khushboo’s husband Dhiraj Agarwal.

4. Homegrown

Launched by Varun and Varsha Patra, Homegrown is one of India’s fastest growing portals for fashion, art, culture, and lifestyle. Their slick writing and quirky content have helped create a niche in the lifestyle news section in India.

5. Slideshare

Slideshare is a very common resource of information for most internet users, especially students. This platform for sharing and distributing presentations was started by siblings Rashmi Sinha and Amit Ranjan, the brother-sister duo.

Slideshare was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012 and since then has been growing every passing day.
