Kedar Ravangave has stepped down as Head of Marketing at Kotak Mahindra Bank, bringing his stint with the lender to a close.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Ravangave said, “The journey strengthened a conviction that has been building over the last 15 years across Marico, Amazon and Kotak. The future of marketing won’t be defined by better campaigns. It will be defined by better operating systems designed for current age.”
Prior to Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ravangave spent nearly a decade at Amazon India, where he held multiple marketing leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Head – Brand & Category Marketing from April 2018 to August 2024, leading marketing across Amazon, Prime, Amazon Pay, Amazon Fashion, Amazon Fresh and Amazon Specials.
Earlier at Amazon, he was Senior Marketing Manager – Consumer Electronics, PC, Fashion & Events from April 2016 to April 2018 and Senior Marketing Manager – Consumer Electronics & Wireless Devices from 2015 to 2016.
Before Amazon, Ravangave spent five years at Marico. During his tenure, he served as Senior Brand Manager from May 2010 to April 2015, Brand Activation Manager from April 2013 to April 2014, Area Sales Manager from July 2011 to July 2013, and began his career at the company as a Management Trainee in June 2010.
Following his departure, Ravangave is in transition, positioning himself as an AI & Business Transformation Leader.
