Natarajan Viswanathan has been promoted to the role of Vice President at The New Indian Express Group. In his new position, he has taken on the responsibility of building stronger partnerships, driving innovative media solutions, and creating greater value for clients and the organisation while supporting its business growth and strategic objectives.
Viswanathan has shared the update through a LinkedIn post, where he expressed gratitude to his colleagues, mentors, clients, leadership, team, friends, and family for their support throughout his journey.
Prior to this promotion, Viswanathan has been serving as Assistant Vice President (Marketing) at The New Indian Express Group since October 2020. He has joined the organisation in October 2020 and has now been elevated to Vice President in July 2026. Before joining The New Indian Express Group, he has spent over 10 years and seven months at The Hindu. He has joined the company as Deputy Regional Manager in April 2010 and has held progressively senior roles, including Senior Deputy Regional Manager from April 2013 to March 2016, Regional Manager from April 2016 to March 2018, and Senior Regional Manager from April 2018 to October 2020.
Earlier in his career, Viswanathan has worked as a Sales Representative at Johnson & Johnson from January 1996 to February 1998. Before that, he has served as a Sales Executive at SUMAN MOTELS from February 1995 to December 1995, where he has played a key role in launching the company’s timeshare resort scheme in the Mumbai market.
