Swiggy Instamart has appointed Srikar Adavi as Vice President – Ads Monetisation, adding him to its senior leadership team as the quick commerce platform expands its advertising business. The company announced his appointment via LinkedIn.
In his new role, Adavi will lead Swiggy Instamart’s advertising monetisation strategy, focusing on ad-tech innovation, scaling monetisation frameworks and helping brands drive real-time consumer engagement across the platform.
Adavi joins Swiggy after nearly nine years at Amazon, where he held multiple leadership positions across advertising and marketplace businesses. Most recently, he served as Head – Scaled Advertising, Ecommerce at Amazon Ads from September 2022 to June 2026. Before that, he was Head – Seller Advertising, India Marketplace at Amazon Ads from April 2020 to July 2022, following his role as Regional Manager – Selection Expansion at Amazon from March 2017 to March 2020.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Adavi brings more than 18 years of experience spanning revenue, product and advertising. Prior to Amazon, he was associated with Nestlé, Motorola Mobile Devices, Vodafone and Britannia Industries, building expertise across consumer goods, telecommunications and digital commerce.
The appointment comes as Swiggy Instamart continues to strengthen its retail media capabilities, with quick commerce increasingly emerging as a key advertising channel for brands looking to reach consumers at the point of purchase.
