Greaves Cotton has appointed Vinay Pawar as Group Chief Technology Officer, effective May 4, 2026. The appointment is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its technology leadership and align with evolving mobility and engineering requirements.
In his new role, Pawar will oversee technology strategy and development across the organisation. His focus is expected to include areas such as connected mobility, embedded systems, industrial automation, and emerging automotive technologies, supporting the company’s broader transformation initiatives.
As per the company, the appointment reflects Greaves Cotton’s focus on strengthening its technology capabilities as it expands across new mobility and engineering segments. Pawar’s experience in automotive electronics and digital systems is expected to support the company’s ongoing shift towards advanced and connected technologies.
Pawar brings nearly three decades of experience across automotive electronics, industrial automation, and digital mobility solutions. Prior to joining Greaves Cotton, he was associated with the Spark Minda Group, where he held multiple leadership roles and managed technology and business portfolios spanning digital clusters, infotainment systems, and connected solutions.
Earlier in his career, he worked with global organisations including KPIT Technologies, Continental Automotive, Bosch, and ABB. His experience includes building engineering teams, leading complex global programs, and developing technology-driven solutions across markets in India and Europe.
