Suhayl Limbada has joined KFC India as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he has taken on the responsibility of building the brand while scaling the business in one of the most complex consumer markets.
He has shared the update via a LinkedIn post, expressing his enthusiasm for the new role and the opportunity to work with franchise partners, internal teams, and stakeholders to shape the brand’s future in India.
Prior to this, Limbada has held multiple leadership roles across global markets. Most recently, he has served at KFC Thailand as Market Lead and Chief Marketing Officer from July 2024 to April 2026, based in Bangkok, Thailand, where he has led full P&L responsibilities and driven growth, expansion, and digital transformation. Before that, he was Chief Marketing Officer at KFC Thailand from January 2022 to July 2024, where he led a turnaround strategy and rebuilt marketing as a core growth engine.
Earlier, he worked with KFC as Marketing Director for South Africa from May 2018 to January 2022, based in Johannesburg. He has also been Marketing Manager – Africa at Yum! Restaurants International from November 2015 to April 2018, leading expansion across new African markets.
Before his tenure in QSR, Limbada has been associated with Mondelēz International from June 2013 to November 2015 in multiple roles, including Regional Manager Indian Ocean Islands / Director Cadbury Mauritius and Multi-Country Gum Category Manager for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has also worked at Kraft Foods Group as Senior Brand Manager – Gum from October 2010 to May 2013, and at Cadbury Schweppes PLC across roles including Brand Manager – Countlines and Commercial Development Role, all based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
