Netflix Elevates Deep Chhabria To Lead Creative – APAC

With over a decade of experience across advertising, brand partnerships and entertainment, Deep Chhabria has been elevated at Netflix to lead creative across the Asia-Pacific region after driving India and SEA campaigns for the platform.

Netflix Elevates Deep Chhabria To Lead Creative – APAC

Netflix has elevated Deep Chhabria to APAC Creative Lead, effective February 2026. He previously served as Creative Lead – India and expanded his remit to include India and Southeast Asia.

He announced this news via a linkedin post. 

Chhabria joined Netflix in August 2021 as Creative Lead – India, where he led brand and distribution partnerships across major campaigns including collaborations such as boAt x Netflix Stream Edition, Oreo x Stranger Things, Pepsi x Money Heist, Cadbury x Little Things, and partnerships linked to titles such as Rana Naidu and Guns and Gulaabs. He also worked on distribution partnerships including Netflix integrations with Jio, Tata Play, Airtel, ACT and AIS in Thailand.

From August 2023, he took on an expanded mandate as Creative Lead – India + SEA TWHK, overseeing regional brand partnerships tied to global titles including Stranger Things, Squid Game 2, Heeramandi and The Archies, along with distribution partnerships across markets such as Thailand and the Philippines.

Alongside his corporate role, Chhabria has been a Tutor at Miami Ad School since July 2018, teaching portfolio development, copywriting and awards preparation. He is also an active stand-up comedian since 2012, with over 500 performances across India and the United States, including appearances on Comedy Central India and international festival participation.

Prior to Netflix, Chhabria spent over three years at BBH India, most recently as Creative Director from November 2019 to August 2021, working on brands including Audi, Red Bull, Tinder, Discovery Plus and Tata Group. Earlier, he served as Creative Partner at the agency, handling accounts such as UNIQLO, Red Bull and Godrej Properties.

Before BBH India, he worked as Copywriter at Grey Group from June 2014 to October 2015, handling brands including Gillette, Indian Army, Nutella, Ferrero and Pantene. He also held content and creative writing roles with Pink Elephink and MTV India earlier in his career.

Overall, Chhabria brings more than a decade of experience spanning advertising, entertainment marketing, brand partnerships and creative leadership across India and international markets.
