Uber has elevated Balaji Krishnamurthy to Chief Financial Officer, effective February 2026. Balaji joins the company’s senior leadership after over six years at Uber, where he has held a succession of strategic finance and investor relations positions.
Krishnamurthy has announced this move via a linkedin post.
He most recently served as Vice President, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations from January 2025 to February 2026 in San Francisco, and prior to that as VP, Strategic Finance – Mobility & Delivery from February 2024 to December 2024, and VP, Strategic Finance – Mobility from February 2023 to February 2024 in Toronto. From December 2020 to June 2023, he was Head of Investor Relations, following a year as Senior Manager, Investor Relations in San Francisco.
Krishnamurthy has served as Board Member at Waabi since September 2024. His earlier career includes a significant tenure at Goldman Sachs from November 2011 to November 2019 as Vice President in Equity Research covering US Hardware and Communications Technology, and as Research Analyst at Irevna from January 2011 to November 2011 for EMEA Petrochemicals. He began his professional journey in wealth management as Area Manager at iTrust Financial Advisors from May 2009 to January 2011 in Gurugram.
