Arijit Ghosh has been appointed Senior Vice President at Rolls-Royce with effect from January 2026. In his role, he will oversee key business units and drive strategic priorities across global operations.

Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Ghosh served as Vice President of Business Development at TATA Advanced Systems for over seven years, from November 2018 to December 2025, where he led strategic initiatives in defense and aerospace, contributing to growth across national and international markets.
From December 2016 to October 2018, he was President & Managing Director at Textron India, managing operations across business jets, helicopters, UAVs, weapons systems, ground support equipment, and electrical machinery. His role involved defining growth strategies, building sourcing networks, and driving post-merger integration.
At Honeywell, Ghosh worked for nearly nine years, first as Director of Strategy & Business Development from April 2008 to October 2009, then as Country Head for Defense & Space (October 2009–March 2014, and finally as President, Honeywell Aerospace India from April 2014 to December 2016. During this period, he led business units covering airlines, defense, space, and general aviation, driving revenue, margins, and strategic initiatives across India and South Asia.
Earlier in his career, Ghosh was a Consultant at McKinsey & Co. from June 2005 to March 2008, advising clients in telecommunications, paper & pulp, specialty chemicals, and logistics, specializing in B2B sales and marketing strategies. He also briefly served as a Marketing Strategist at Burger King Corp in 2004, leading e-marketing and advertising for product relaunches in the Southeastern USA.
Ghosh began his career in the Indian Foreign Service 1995–2003, serving in Tokyo and Shanghai as India’s diplomatic representative, driving economic engagement with China and supporting Indo-Japan partnerships. He started in engineering as a Project Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited from September 1992 to January 1995, where he managed offshore oil platforms, gas turbines, and plant automation projects.
