Raj Kamal Singhal has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Systems India. In this role, he has been responsible for driving services-led growth, accelerating digital transformation initiatives, strengthening strategic partnerships, and advancing customer-centric solutions, while also focusing on employee empowerment across the organisation.
Singhal has shared the update regarding his appointment on LinkedIn, confirming his new leadership role at Hitachi Systems India and marking the next phase of his professional journey with the company.
Prior to his current role, Singhal has had a long-standing association with Hitachi Systems India. He has been serving as Strategic Advisor at the company from July 2025 to January 2026. Before this, he held the dual role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer from November 2020 to July 2025. He has also served as Group CFO between August 2019 and March 2021, overseeing financial transformation, P&L optimisation, strategic planning, and operational finance.
Outside of Hitachi Systems India, Singhal has co-founded coto, where he has worked as Co-Founder, Chief Operating and Business Officer from July 2025 to November 2025. Earlier in his career, he has been associated with Avaya as Business Planning & Operations Head – APAC from September 2015 to August 2019. He has also worked with The Coca-Cola Company as Deputy Finance Controller – INSWA BU from May 2012 to September 2015, Lava International Limited as Finance Controller – INSWA BU from December 2010 to May 2012, and Bharti Airtel as Finance Head – DTH Western Region from April 2005 to December 2010.
