This new global unit fuses WPP’s production expertise with generative AI, creative resources, and multi-year investments in a new studio network, enabling faster, high-quality content designed to support client growth.
WPP today announces the launch of WPP Production, uniting Hogarth, WPP’s production company, with production teams across the network. All creative producers will now operate on a single global platform to provide consistent production services to clients and support their content needs in the AI era.
This step reflects WPP’s commitment to production quality and scale. Richard Glasson, Global CEO of Hogarth, will oversee WPP Production.
This transformation into WPP Production is driven by four core pillars. First, WPP is establishing a unified global team of craft experts by consolidating all content producers into a single, globally-connected organisation to improve collaboration and expertise. Second, the company is integrating agency producers into a global team to ensure creativity and production are delivered consistently across WPP’s client portfolio. Third, WPP is investing in talent and technology, including generative AI and virtual production, to enhance client content workflows. Fourth, the organisation is launching a high-velocity content studio, an integrated production and media solution that aligns content with audience engagement and data-driven optimisation.
WPP Production will also consolidate production resources to improve connectivity and operational efficiency across markets. Teams will operate on a single platform, leveraging WPP Open production technology and AI-enabled workflows to deliver content consistently. With nearly 10,000 staff, WPP Production will be one of the largest production platforms globally, delivering large volumes of content across channels and regions.
The platform reflects WPP’s broader strategy to offer integrated services, allowing clients to access creative, media, and production capabilities through a single ecosystem. It will also leverage AI, virtual production, and sustainable practices to support content creation at scale across all channels. Building on Hogarth Studios and the new virtual production studio in London, WPP Production will open additional studio locations globally to ensure continuous access. Clients will experience faster turnaround, cost efficiency, and broader production solutions to support their growth.
With a footprint in over 40 cities, WPP Production will continue to use local expertise while maintaining global consistency and quality, prioritising speed, value, and production standards.
The transition to WPP Production will take effect on 23 February 2026, ensuring seamless continuity of services for clients and partners.
Richard Glasson, Global CEO of Hogarth and incoming CEO of WPP Production, said: “This is a transformative moment for us and, more importantly, for our clients. Bringing all of WPP’s craft expertise together in WPP Production reinforces our position at the heart of WPP’s integrated offering. It allows us to activate the full collective power of WPP – its talent, creativity, technology and data – to redefine content creation. We are focused on delivering smarter, more innovative and world-class storytelling that drives business for our clients.”
Cindy Rose, CEO of WPP, added: “The launch of WPP Production is a cornerstone of our strategic vision to integrate our services, making it easier for clients to access WPP’s full spectrum of capabilities. In a rapidly evolving landscape where content is king, WPP Production will be the powerhouse that enables us to be the trusted growth partner for our clients. This is about delivering exceptional value and setting new benchmarks for the quality and scale of content production worldwide.”
