Avneet Singh Puri has been appointed as EVP & Head of Operations at Jubilant FoodWorks, overseeing Domino’s operations across India and South Asia since January 2026.
He announced this move via a linkedin post.
Prior to joining Jubilant FoodWorks, he spent over nine years at Airtel, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Head – Sales & Distribution from May 2025 to January 2026. In this role, he designed channel strategies for both General Trade and Modern Trade, driving marketing and brand objectives at the point of sale and leading growth across prepaid, broadband, and APB channels, while implementing automation and digital products to enhance sales efficiency.
From April 2022 to April 2025, he served as CEO of the Home Delivery Organization (HDO) at Airtel, building the organization from scratch into a fully integrated service delivery arm for all in-home lines of business. He managed an on-role team of 1,000+ and an off-role team of 25,000+ across 1,500+ towns, with full accountability for launching and scaling new digital journeys and complete P&L responsibility.
Between April 2018 and March 2022, he was CEO for Airtel’s Andhra Pradesh and Telangana units, responsible for all line-of-business P&L and managing one of the company’s top two revenue-generating units, with annual revenues exceeding USD 0.9 billion.
Before Airtel, Puri worked at BD for over four years, holding roles including Associate Director/National Sales Manager – MPS May 2013 to August 2016, overseeing topline and bottom-line delivery for India and South Asia, and leading a team of 230 across hospital, channel, and tender sales. He also served as National Marketing Manager – New Business Development from December 2011 to April 2013, conceptualizing and rolling out a new horizontal structure for tier-2 cities.
Puri’s earlier experience includes over ten years at Vodafone, holding roles such as Head – Marketing May 2009 to November 2011, Zonal Business Head February 2008 to April 2009, and Senior Manager – Prepaid Sales June 2006 to January 2008, where he led teams across acquisition, revenue, and brand health targets in Delhi, Faridabad, and the South Zone.
