Shreyas Mehrotra has been elevated to CMO and Head of Digital Sales at Airtel Business. He has been with Airtel for over seven years and was most recently serving as Marketing Head, Airtel Business, a role he held from September 2022 to January 2026.
Prior to this, Mehrotra was Category Lead – Airtel Black from December 2020 to August 2022, where he played a central role in the launch and scale-up of Airtel Black, driving convergence across mobility, broadband and DTH. During this period, he worked on customer journey redesign, digital acquisition and retention frameworks, and cross-functional transformation across customer experience, product, engineering and sales teams.
Before joining Airtel, Mehrotra was Head of Brand Marketing at Tata Teleservices from April 2016 to June 2018, leading national brand strategy across Tata Docomo, Tata Photon and the company’s 4G LTE offerings, with a focus on digital-first communication and simplification of brand positioning.
He earlier held leadership roles at Ola, where he served as Head of Marketing for TaxiForSure between July 2015 and March 2016, and as Head – Brand Marketing from September 2014 to June 2015, overseeing brand, performance marketing and customer acquisition initiatives.
Mehrotra began his career at Marico, where he spent six years across sales and brand management roles between 2010 and 2014, including stints as Area Sales Manager, Brand Manager Activation and Brand Manager Innovation. He started his professional journey as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions from June 2005 to May 2006.
