Samriddh D. has exited Arata, where he has served as Chief Business Officer for over two years, overseeing the company’s business, marketing, product, technology and customer care functions.
During his tenure, he has been responsible for scaling revenue, strengthening distribution and channel strategy, building internal systems and leading cross-functional teams, while playing a key role in capital raising, brand architecture and operational rigour at the organisation.
He has announced his exit through a LinkedIn post, where he has stated that his mandate at Arata has been fulfilled and reflected on building business systems, talent and an agile marketing engine at the company. In the post, he has expressed gratitude to the founders, team, partners and the culture at Arata, while noting that the brand is entering a new phase of reinvention and scale.
Prior to this, Samriddh D. has held multiple leadership roles across consumer brands, technology platforms and agencies. At Arata, he has been associated since October 2023, initially as Fractional CMO until March 2024, before taking over as Chief Business Officer from April 2024 to January 2026. Earlier, he worked as Chief Marketing Officer at Heads Up For Tails from October 2021 to October 2023. Before that, he has served at Bombay Shaving Company as Vice President – Marketing and New Brands from February 2021 to October 2021, and earlier as Director – Marketing and New Initiatives from June 2020 to February 2021.
His earlier stints have included Vice President – Marketing at AKIVA from April 2019 to June 2020, Head of Marketing at Aakash Digital from October 2018 to April 2019, and Head of Communications, India at Xynteo from April 2017 to July 2018. Between January 2015 and December 2016, he has been associated with Times Internet as Head of Marketing – Dineout. He has also spent nearly nine years at abm communication from April 2006 to January 2015 as Director of Strategic Planning, following early-career roles at Shooting Gallery Asia, The Princeton Review, the Indian Army as a Gentleman Cadet, and AIESEC in India.
