Sameer Wanchoo has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at VIP Industries, where he has taken charge of leading the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand building, consumer engagement, and go-to-market initiatives for its luggage and travel accessories portfolio.
Wanchoo has announced his appointment through a LinkedIn post.
Prior to this, Wanchoo has served as Chief Marketing Officer at Eureka Forbes from July 2018 to December 2025, where he has overseen brand and marketing strategy for the company’s consumer product portfolio.
Before that, he worked at CavinKare as Vice President – Marketing from March 2016 to July 2018, handling marketing for personal care, foods and beverages. Earlier, from February 2014 to 2016, he has been associated with Mattel, Inc. as Category Manager Marketing – Infant and Pre-school in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. His earlier stint at CavinKare has seen him serve as General Manager – Marketing (Hair Care) from December 2009 to February 2014, where he has led categories including Chik, Nyle, Meera and Karthika.
He has also worked with Big Bazaar – Future Retail as Head of FoodBazaar, West Zone, from April 2008 to December 2009. Wanchoo has spent over five years at Dabur India between 2003 and April 2008, where he has held roles as Product Manager and later as Group Product Manager, including during the transition of Balsara Home Products after its acquisition by Dabur. Earlier in his career, he worked with ESPN Star Sports as Senior Sales Executive from 2002 to 2003 and with Starcom as Senior Media Planner from 2000 to 2002.
