Bacardi India has appointed Goodies Narayanan as its Director of Marketing and CMO India, where she has been leading the company’s consumer and customer marketing mandate across its full portfolio, including Bacardi, Patrón, Dewar’s, Grey Goose, and Bombay Sapphire. In this role, she has been overseeing brand-building, category growth, and cultural strategy for the India market.
She has posted the announcement on LinkedIn, sharing that she has joined Bacardi India Private Limited and has been leading all marketing teams across the organisation. In her post, she has expressed excitement about returning to brand-building after her stint in consumer-tech and has spoken about driving disruptive lifestyle brands, fostering creative teams, and working in a company that values diversity in leadership.
Prior to this, she has built a career spanning more than 20 years across consumer tech, FMCG, healthcare, streaming, and global CPG companies. She worked at Coursera from July 2023 to January 2025, first as APAC CMO and later as Vice President and Head of International Marketing. Earlier, she has been part of Disney+ Hotstar from June 2019 to December 2021 as Vice President – Marketing, where she has been managing cross-functional teams, IPL campaigns, and the launch of Disney+ in Southeast Asia.
She has previously worked with GSK in Singapore for five years from June 2014 to June 2019, first as Senior Marketing Manager – Digital, leading nutrition category transformation, and later as Global Marketing Lead for Panadol, handling global brand operations and innovation. Before that, she spent five years at Procter & Gamble (Singapore) from October 2008 to October 2013, managing global brands like Whisper/Always and driving APAC launches for Clairol Professional.
Her earlier roles have included a consulting stint with Siemens in Brussels from April 2008 to June 2008, where she has led a key change management project during the compliance crisis. She has also worked in marketing and business development at Mind Trainers (July 2005 to July 2007) and in B2B branding and communications at Hind Fab (July 2003 to July 2005) in New Delhi.
