Chandni Shah, co-founder of Kinnect, will take charge as the Chief Executive Officer of the combined Kinnect and 22feet Tribal entity starting Jan 1, 2026. The leadership transition has come as part of a broader restructuring within Omnicom Advertising India.
Meanwhile, co-founder Rohan Mehta has been elevated to the responsibility of digital integration and capability building across the Group. This development has been shared with Marketing Mind by someone from the company.
As part of the larger industry development, the merger of Omnicom and IPG Mediabrands has created a consolidated network that has been driving structural shifts across agencies, including leadership realignments within Omnicom Advertising India.
Shah’s career timeline has shown her long association with the agency. She has been serving as Founder and COO at FCB Kinnect since May 2011. Before that, she worked in client servicing roles at JWT India from October 2010 to May 2011 and at Percept H from August 2009 to September 2010.
Mehta, prior to his new responsibility, has been serving as CEO of FCB Kinnect and FCB/SIX India since September 2011. Earlier, he worked as Client Solutions Director at Allied Digital Services Limited between June 2009 and June 2011.
