Aravamudhan K has been elevated to Executive Vice President, Legal and Regulatory at JioStar,
He has served as Head of Public Policy at Star India since November 2024.

Prior to this, he was an Assistant Vice President at STAR India from July 2012, overseeing regulatory approvals, compliance, internal and external communications, and government relations.
From July 2023 to March 2025, he was Head of Public Policy at Viacom18 Media, and prior to that he served as Executive Director, Government Relations at The Walt Disney Company India from January 2022 to July 2023. K held the role of Senior Vice President at Star TV Network between August 2017 and January 2022.
Earlier in his career, he was Senior Manager, Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs at STAR India from 2007 to July 2012, and Manager, Corporate Communication at Star India from September 2007 to September 2008. He also served as Manager at MCCS India (ABP Network) from 2006 to 2007.
