Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND) has announced the integration of its Industrial Devices (INDD) and Energy Solutions (ESD) divisions into a single entity, Panasonic Industry & Energy India (PIDEIN). The consolidation has been implemented to enhance organisational agility, drive synergy, and strengthen customer experience across the company’s B2B offerings in India.
Narayan Kumar has been elevated as Chief Business Officer (CBO) of the newly formed PIDEIN. He has previously served as Divisional Director of the Industrial Devices Division and brings extensive experience across B2B domains to his new role. He will report to Tadashi Chiba, MD and CEO of PLSIND.
The Industrial Devices division has focused on electronic and electromechanical components, including sensors, relays, microswitches, BLDC motors, and automation products such as servo systems, PLC, HMI, and sensing solutions. Meanwhile, the Energy Solutions division has concentrated on sustainable energy technologies, including lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, renewable energy storage systems, and energy management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
The integration has been framed as a strategic move to create a more customer-centric organisation, foster operational excellence, and align with Panasonic’s long-term strategy in India.
