Meta has unveiled ‘Vibes’, an AI-powered short video feed aimed at enhancing creative expression and experimentation on its platforms. Available now through the Meta AI app and meta.ai, Vibes lets users browse a stream of AI-generated videos and create their own using a suite of tools provided by Meta.
The feed presents a wide variety of content, from whimsical animations to imaginative visual simulations, designed to adapt to user preferences over time. By tracking engagement, Vibes curates a more personalized experience for each user, highlighting videos that align with their interests.
Users can generate videos from scratch, remix existing content, or add music, visual effects, and other enhancements before sharing. These videos can be posted within the Vibes feed or cross-shared to Instagram and Facebook Stories, making it easier to showcase creativity across Meta’s ecosystem.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg highlighted the feature on Instagram, posting examples of AI-generated content including a cat kneading dough and a woman from ancient Egypt taking a selfie. These examples illustrate the playful and creative possibilities that Vibes offers to users.
