Amazon Web Services (AWS) has named Milind Pande as the new Head of Marketing for India and South Asia.
With over 16 years of experience across technology, media and consulting sectors, Milind brings expertise in B2B marketing, strategy, and business development. Until recently, he was managing the marketing charter for the Independent Software Vendors cohort of customers for AWS in India.
At AWS, Milind will oversee a wide marketing portfolio, including brand positioning, demand generation, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies across India and South Asia. His appointment comes as more businesses adopt cloud technologies to modernize operations.
In his sixth year at AWS, Milind has served as Chief of Staff to the AWS India President and has been involved in building growth programs across sales and marketing functions. His background includes managing technology security and enterprise risk management at Vodafone India, and driving corporate strategy and investor relations at Viacom18, a part of JioStar, a joint venture between Reliance Industries, Viacom18 and Disney India.
The appointment reflects AWS’s focus on expanding its engagement with India’s technology ecosystem, including startups and large enterprises adopting cloud. Pande’s experience is expected to support AWS’s efforts to scale cloud adoption and help businesses use technology for growth and innovation.
